How to Cope with Anxiety...

I know, I know everyone's talking about anxiety and how to cope. However, it's so important for us to give/get these reminders whenever we can, especially during these times of uncertainty and stress. This is not all encompassing, and some things may or may not work for you, but hopefully you can take what you need

Notes:
Acknowledging may look like identifying and labeling the underlying feelings (anxious, nervous, uncertain, afraid, embarrassed, angry, hurt, etc.)
.
.
.
Square breathing helps regulate the oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in our bodies; it can help us re-center ourselves; and it can help with concentration. Repeat the steps at least 3 times, or until you return to a calm state. (If you have underlying medical conditions that prevent you from slowing down your breaths or might be adversely affected by doing so, consult with your physician)
.
.
.
Reflect without judgment. This is a moment to become curious, familiar, and more self-aware
.
.
.
Be gentle with yourself. This takes practice. This is all new, and you are still adjusting. Give yourself time--today you may find success in reducing your anxiety, but tomorrow may be more difficult--it is okay.

You are grieving, you are learning, you are growing, you are human. ❤️🌻
